Diamond of Dots Cancellation combined with Post Office Datestamps
1855 (20 Nov.) entire letter from Moulmein addressed to Calcutta bearing ½a. Die I cancelled by diamond of dots obliterator and showing on the reverse Moulmein c.d.s. (Type D1) c.d.s. Usual minor imperfections and a light horizontal crease through the lower part of the adhesive, nevertheless a scarce early cover bearing this handstamp, recorded in Proud from October 1855.
