George III (1760-1820), Halfcrown, 1816, Type I, first laureate head right, exposing bare shoulder in foreground, rev. crowned shield in Garter, edge straight milled, 14.12g, 12h (ESC 613; Bull 2086; S.3788), perfectly cabinet toned and lustrous, good extremely fine, and much as issued, an imposing example of this more scarcely encountered 'Withdrawn' type
