George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Halfcrown, 1750 VICESIMO QVARTO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, six hearts, downwards lettered edge, 15.08g, 6h (ESC 609; Bull 1692 but six hearts not listed; S.3696), tiny die flaw running through GRATIA, otherwise beautifully cabinet toned and lustrous, a pleasingly good extremely fine and much as issued, the key date of series in exemplary condition
