George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Crown, 1750 VICESIMO QVARTO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, angles plain, eight strings to harp, eight hearts, downwards lettered edge, 30.04g, 6h (ESC 127; Bull 1670; S.3690), very slight rub to high points, otherwise lustrous with a light but colourful blue cabinet tone, a really pleasingly good very fine / extremely fine
