George II (1727-1760), 'Roses' Shilling, 1743, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, single pearls in bands, roses in angles, seven strings to harp, six hearts, edge obliquely milled edge, 5.97g, 6h (ESC 1203; Bull 1720; S.3702), lightly flecked, otherwise cabinet toned, very fine; also, 'Roses' Sixpence, 1743, as before, six strings to harp, six hearts, edge obliquely milled, 2.99g, 6h (ESC 1614; Bull 1752; S.3708), lightly toned, about very fine; lastly, 'Roses' Shilling, 1747, as first, seven hearts, obliquely milled edge, 5.96g, 6h (ESC 1209; Bull 1728 only six hearts recorded; S.3702), lightly flecked, otherwise lustrous and toned, very fine (3)
