George II (1727-1760), LIMA Crown, 1746 DECIMO NONO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, LIMA below, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, ten strings to harp, seven hearts, downwards lettered edge, 30.02g, 6h (ESC 125; Bull 1668; S.3689), a few very light flecks of haymarking on reverse, and slight die rub to high points, nevertheless a delightfully balanced and photogenic example, richly cabinet toned and lustrous, near extremely fine
