George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Halfcrown, 1715 SECVNDO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eight strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, reading DECVS ET TVTAMEN, 15.10g, 6h (ESC 587; Bull 1550; S.3642), a breathtaking cabinet specimen, with glorious golden-blue toning accentuating key devices, choice, practically as struck, very rare in this condition
