George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1716 SECVNDO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, downwards lettered edge, reading DECVS ET TVTAMEN, 29.78g, 6h (ESC 110; Bull 1540; S.3639), slight adjustment marks on drapery, otherwise delightfully lustrous and exceptionally sharp and uniform for strike, a pleasingly good extremely fine with much iridescent toning
