William III, Solus (1694-1702), Halfcrown, 1696 OCTAVO, laureate and draped bust right, rev. four crowned small shields cruciform, five strings to early harp, nine billets, upwards lettered edge, 15.14g, 6h (ESC 534; Bull 1014; S.3475), metal flaw on edge above bust and with light adjustment marks and flecking, otherwise richly and iridescently cabinet toned with much underlying mint lustre, practically as struck
