Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1663 XV, first laureate and draped bust right, no stops, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, 15.00g, 6h (ESC 459; Bull 444; S.3361), a beautiful and well balanced example, with bright and more lustrous obverse fields ensnared with pearlescent indigo-blue, a really good very fine, scarce in this commendable state!
