REX • (m.m.) • fourth Equestrian Portrait of King trotting left, brandishing upright sword, mane billowing before, sash flying behind, no caparison or ground-line, rev. (m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • larger oval garnished shield, plain harp, 14.246g, 1h, m.m. triangle-in-circle (Brooker 371-376; North 2214; S.2779), striking fissures on a dumpy short flan, with much underlying lustre and richly cabinet toned, the portrait handsomely struck up, a pleasing very fine
