REX • (m.m.) • fourth Equestrian Portrait of King trotting left, brandishing upright sword, mane billowing before, sash flying behind, no caparison or ground-line, rev. (m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • larger oval garnished shield, plain harp, 14.574g, 8h, m.m. triangle-in-circle (Brooker 371-376; North 2214; S.2779), historically scuffed and areas or porosity, otherwise residually lustrous, and colourfully toned, struck details a bolder fine; another, similar, 14.770g, 3h, m.m. triangle-in-circle (Brooker 371-376; North 2214; S.2779), an historic scuff across shield, otherwise cabinet toned, fine or marginally better; lastly, Group III, Type 3a3, Halfcrown, 12 May 1645 - 10 November 1645, Tower (under Parliament), third Equestrian portrait, no ground line, rev. bird-headed harp, 14.829g, 4h, m.m. eye [over (R) on obverse only] (Brooker 359-361; North 2213; S.2778), lustrous with light and colourful cabinet tone, a bolder fine (3)
