REX • third Equestrian Portrait of King trotting left, brandishing upright sword, sash flying behind, no caparison or ground-line, rev. (m.m.) • CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO • larger oval garnished shield, plain harp, 14.370g, 8h, m.m. tun (Brooker 334-337; North 2209; S.2273), well struck to central devices with underlying lustre accentuated by uniform cabinet grey tone, some tiny metal stressing to shield, otherwise a pleasing very fine
