REX • third Equestrian Portrait of King trotting left, brandishing upright sword, sash flying behind, no caparison or ground-line, rev. (m.m.) • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • larger oval garnished shield, plain harp, 14.885g, 4h, m.m. crown (Hawkins -; Brooker 327-330; North 2209; S.2273), struck soft and further rubbed, otherwise residually lustrous with attractive colourful patina in recesses, scarcely fine, the reverse better; another, 14 February 1636 - 8 May 1638, as before, 14.834g, 3h, m.m. tun (Brooker 334-337; North 2209; S.2273), darkly cabinet toned with underlying hints of lustre, strictly fine, the reverse better (2)
