Edward IV, First Reign (1461-1470), Light Coinage, Groat, 1465-1470, Coventry, crowned bust facing, quatrefoils at neck, lombardic C on breast, rev. CIVITAS COVETRE, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, 2.759g, 8h, m.m. sun/rose (North 1581; S.2008), slightly clipped with traces of doubling to eye, otherwise richly cabinet toned with flurries of vibrant indigo blue in recesses, a really good fine, a popular and scarcer provincial mint
