[R], crowned bust three-quarters left, hair curls behind, mantle with jewelled collar, cross pattée-tipped sceptre in left field, rev. + WILLEM : ON : CA, short cross potent, cross pattées in angles, 1.446g [21.315grns], 10h (Hawkins 285; FEJ 1694[b] same dies; BMC 228 same dies; North 961.1; S.1342), on a neat round flan as typically encountered for Carlisle issues, with peripheral softness, almost very fine, scarce
