Henry II (1154-1189), 'Tealby' Pennies, c. 1167-1170 (2), Class D1, Thetford, Sighvatr, [+] hENRI : [R]EX, crowned bust three-quarters left, hair curl at temple behind, mantle with jewelled collar, cross pattée-tipped sceptre in left field, rev. + [SI]W[A]T : O[N] : T[E]F: short cross potent, cross pattées in angles, 1.443g [22.269grns], 12h (EMC 2014.0107; North 958.1; BMC 719), softly struck on an irregular planchet as usual for type, strictly fine but much as issued; another, Class D2, Lincoln, Radulf/Raulf/Raul, [+] hENRI . [R], crowned bust three-quarters left, hair curls behind, mantle with jewelled collar, cross pattée-tipped sceptre in left field, rev. + R[OLF : ON] : LINCO[L]N, short cross potent, cross pattées in angles, 1.478g [22.809grns], 2h (Hawkins 285; Mossop Gg; FEJ 1150[b] same dies; North 958.2; BMC 409; S.1340), struck soft to portrait and peripheries, otherwise cabinet toned, largely fine, scarce (2)
