The L'Abbaye Collection: Part Two | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1729, 'Regular 9' in date, young laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, seven hearts to semée, roses and plumes in angles, edge obliquely milled, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 331; ESC 1193; Bull 1700; S.3698), rubbed and lightly toned, a bolder fine to about very fine with colourful hues
