The L'Abbaye Collection: Part Two | Charles II (1660-1685), Shilling, 1668, 'Small 6s Repunched', CAROLVS • II • - DEI • GRATIA, second laureate and draped bust right, no stop before DEI, rev. stop after HIB, crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, interlocking Cs in angles, edge straight milled, 6h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1030; Bull 511; S.3375), light rub to hair, otherwise lightly toned with hints of underlying lustre, a pleasing very fine, the reverse better still
