(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1872 [Die 49] (2), second larger young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 6h, 7.97g; 6h, 7.95g (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B; MCE 533), both with a die flaw to the 1 in date and to the right of the first A in GRATIA, both lightly contact marked, the second with some rub to the hair, otherwise both lustrous to the obverse legend and reverses, very fine / nearing extremely fine (2)
