Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereign, 1872 [Die 47] (2), second larger young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 6h, 7.97g; 6h, 7.96g (Marsh 56; Spink 3853B; MCE 533), both with a small die flaw to the truncation and lightly contact marked, more so to the second, nonetheless both lustrous in the obverse legend and to the reverse, very fine (2)
