(g) Victoria (1837-1901), 'Shieldback' Sovereigns, 1863, Type IB (2), [Die 7], second larger young head, W.W. incuse on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, edge milled, 7.98g, 6h; die number 7; 6h, 7.96g, die number 10 (Marsh 46; Spink 3853; MCE 524), both with some contact marks, the first with a scratch to the eye and deposits to the reverse, the obverse legend also double struck, the second wiped, yet both with lustre to the legends, very fine (2)
