A 'Great War' casualty group of three to Private W. Livesey, 1st/4th Bn. Rifle Brigade who was killed in action on 12 August 1915

William Livesey was born at Broughton, Lancashire and enlisted at Salford, he entered the war in France from 22 July 1915 and was killed in action on 12 August 1915 whilst serving with the 12th Bn. He is buried in Y Farm Military Cemetery, Bois-Grenier, France.

He has two MICs with a note saying 1914-15 Star taken on charge and re-issued. Rifle Recs (Records) Winchester returns 1914-15 Star for amendment 24/3/20. Name amended from Livesey.
