Charles Hubert Albury was born in Newton Patence, Hampshire, was a resident of Alresford, Hampshire. Enlisting at Winchester he saw service on the Western Front from 21 April 1915 with the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade. He died of wounds on 14 July 1915, aged 18. The son of T. Albury of Upper Unstead Farm, Shalford, Guildford, Surrey, Charles Hubert is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery.
