Army L.S. & G.C., V.R. (1672. Corpl. T. Hibbert. 6/Dgn. Gds.), good very fine

Thomas Hibbert was born at Knaresborough, Yorkshire early in the summer of 1858, the son of Thomas and Mary Hibbert. An Orphan early in his life Hibbert enlisted in the 1870s and served with the 6th Dragoons abroad for much of his career. Leaving the service in the 1890s he took up work as a caretaker at the Post Office, Infirmary Street, Leeds; sold together with copied census data.
