Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (K.21149 G, Bennett, S.P.O. H.M.S. Vernon.), very fine

Cyril Bennett was born on 2 June 1895 at Kennington, London. He served on Queen Elizabeth from June 1914-February 1917, with further service aboard Prince of Wales and Attentive. He continued to serve after the Great War and was pensioned in November 1935. He rejoined on 8 January 1940 and served on Victory 2, Pembroke 10, Lady Beryl and Europa and appears to complete his service by the end of 1941.

He is further entitled to a 1914-15 trio and a Jubilee 1935 Medal.
