Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (297778 A. H. Brunsdon. Ch. Sto. H.M.S. Dido.), light contact marks, very fine

Arthur Henry Brunsdon was born at Uckfield on 8 April 1882 and he joined the Royal Navy on 5 June 1901. He served aboard Iron Duke from 10 March 1914-3 July 1916 and Birmingham from 18 February 1917-5 April 1919. Brunsdon was invalided ashore on 8 March 1922 as a result of disease and was awarded his L.S. & G.C. Medal the same year.
