Robert Frank Lumb died of wounds in Palestine on 7 November 1917 whilst attached to the 2/22nd (County of London) Battalion (The Queen's). Lumb was buried in the Beersheba Cemetery and was the husband of Mrs. Lumb, of Hambleton Cottage, Roding Avenue, Woodford Bridge, Essex.
