George Edward Vincer was born on 11 April 1890 at Morice Town, Devon. He enlisted into the Royal Navy on 27 October 1907 and served on Diligence from 8 Jan 1916-30 September 1917 before transferring to Resolution until the end of the war. He was awarded a Long Service Medal in 1923. Pensioned on 10 April 1930, he was re-mobilised on 28 September 1938 and was finally released on 14 August 1945.

Note the incorrect spelling to the pair.
