Post-Medieval (c. 1650-1700), Gold Poesy Ring, 'A true friends token', plain convex outer band, inscription in italic font on interior side, 1.08g, ring size approx. I (cf. Berganza.com [accessed 30 October 2023]; BM AF.1374 and AF.1554 [for the inscription]; PAS. WMID-B20CC7), a dainty but complete example of a late eighteenth century posy ring, some small and light scratches on the surface, but otherwise extremely fine
