1898 Photograph album with 31 original photographs showing scenes during the war, all captioned, showing prisoners at Halfa, gunboats, awaiting a dervish attack, the fort, field scenes, a camel in the battlefield, reference to Macdonald's Brigade, dervish prisoners, fugitives from Omdurman, the wall around the Khalifa's house, Khartoum, hoisting the flag at Gordon's Palace Sept 4th, railways at Fort Atbara, with later photographs in England identifying Colonel East of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
