(x) Central Bank of Iraq, Front Printer´s Model for 5 Dinars, 1987, serial number N/12 000000, this is a printer's model of an Iraqi 5 dinar banknote. It features a beautifully intricate Girih pattern consisting of purple stars and octagons as a background, positioned above a scene of unknown buildings. On the left and right side of this respectively are a bird carving and a portrait of Saddam Hussein. Notably, this model bears a striking resemblance to the unadopted design intended for the 1990 5 dinar note, although certain differences can be seen in the specific geometric patterns, the state in the foreground, and Hussein's attire. The 1990 notes were not issued due to the invasion of Kuwait in August 1990. As such, this is a remarkable find for any collector and is a unique artefact from a challenging period in Iraq's history
