(x) Central Bank of Iraq, Front Printer´s Model for 10 Dinars, 1987, serial number N/12 000000, this is a printer's model of an Iraqi 10 dinar banknote. It is unlike any issued note or unadopted design currently listed. This design boasts beautiful blue and purple hues on the outer border design, and a vivid orange and pink Girih pattern as a backdrop to a green riverbank scene. On the right of the note is a forward-facing carved face dressed in a headdress. The desuetude of this design could be as a result of the shifting political landscape of the time, as the invasion of Kuwait occurred in 1990, and other proposed banknote designs were also abandoned. This model is a truly remarkable find for any collector and is a unique artefact from a challenging period in Iraq's history
