(x) Charles II (1660-1685), Five-Guineas, 1679 TRICESIMO PRIMO, second laureate bust right, rounded truncation, nose to G, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem adorned sceptres in angles, six strings to harp, edge lettered upwards, 41.37g, 6h (MCE 20; EGC 190; Spink 3331), die flaw to the bottom of hair, the surfaces previously heavily hairlined and subsequently gilt, nevertheless the reverse with a hint of red toning, very fine, with NGC Certification, denoting "Altered Surfaces" (Cert. #6438545-001)
