Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Five-Guineas, 1711, DECIMO, diademed and draped bust left, rev. crowned broader shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, ten strings to harp, +• DECVS • ET • TVTAMEN • • ANNO • REGNI • DECIMO • downwards, 41.82g [645.4grns], 6h (MCE 202; Schneider II, 531; EGC 451 albeit ten strings not noted; King 147; Stratos -; Spink 3568), lightly polished with contact marks in fields, traces of sporadic smoothing, otherwise residually lustrous and the edges happily problem-free, struck details a pleasingly bold very fine, a scarcer date from a highly prized portrait series in the present marketplace
