Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Two-Guineas, 1711, diademed and draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, nine strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 16.68g [257.4grns], 6h (MCE 206; EGC 455; Stratos 159; Spink 3569), rubbed and lightly contact marked with some resultant brightness, nevertheless residually lustrous with wisps of reddish peripheral tone, a handsomely bold very fine
Entirely comparable for strike with the Sir Rodney Sweetnam specimen that graded NGC AU53 (Spink 270, 17 January 2021, lot 44)
