1839 (14 Sept.) entire letter from Richmond, London to Tonnerre endorsed "Per Great Western", charged "18¼" postage to New York and "25" cents freight, struck with Richmond d.s., "bristol/ship letter", New York 21.09 d.s. and further French transit marks. A very fine and colourful private ship freight money cover.
