(x) NGC AU55 WINGS | George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1720 over 18 [over 16] SEXTO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eleven strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 29.88g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 257; Bull 1543; ESC 113; Spink 3639), lightly cleaned but residually lustrous fields, adjustment in third quarter and dig below Hanoverian horse, nevertheless iridescent hues of neon blue at peripheries, a bolder very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU55 WINGS (Cert. #4345392-006)
