MAGN • BRITAN • FRAN • ET • HIBER • REX • Briot's horseman left, sword upright, grassy ground line, rev. • CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO • (m.m.), oval garnished shield dividing crowned C-R, 29.99g, 6h, m.m. flower and B / B (Brooker 714; North 2298; Spink 2852), some minor flawing to fields, otherwise handsomely cabinet toned and a pleasingly bold very fine, the reverse with further traces of adjustment on shield, otherwise approaching extremely fine, in NGC holder, favourably graded MS62 (Cert. #2810939-001) [*Single Finest Certified"]
