Albert Edward Ponting was born at Lambeth on 2 July 1896 and was a grill room attendant upon joining the Royal Marine Artillery. He served on Defensively Armed Merchant Ships in 1918.
Frank Kenneth Gilbert was born at Coventry on 12 March 1897 and served with the Hozitzer Brigade from 1 July 1916.
Percy Victor Starling was born in Staffordshire on 9 December 1894. He served aboard Agincourt at the Battle of Jutland and thence in Ireland with the 8th Royal Marine Battalion. He died as the result of an accidental discharge of a rifle at Union Hall Coastguard Station, Skibbereen on 8 November 1920. He had been shot on 5 November and was taken to the Naval Hospital at Haulbowline but died from peritonitis as a result of the wound in his abdomen.
