The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | NGC AU58 | Anne (1702-1714), 'Post-Union', Two-Guineas, 1711, diademed and draped bust left, rev. crowned shield cruciform, nine strings to harp, emblem-adorned plain sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 16.65g, 6h (MCE 206; EGC 455; Stratos 159; Spink 3569), bright and lustrous, a small surface mark in fourth quarter, otherwise a really pleasingly bold very fine, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, helpfully graded AU58 (#6295553-025)
