HIB .' REG .', wire line inner circles, crowned bust 1B left, wearing beaded bodice, rev. (m.m.) SCVTVM : FIDEI : PROTEGE'. EAM, crowned square-topped shield dividing E-R, 5.56g, 10h, m.m. lis (Brown and Comber G4 = [British Museum]; Schneider I, 737, same reverse die}; North 1982; Spink 2519), a faint trace of creasing otherwise of full flan, crisply struck and extremely rare, perhaps only this and one other known to commerce

The one which I offer is therefore believed to be the only one with this reading available to collectors, of the highest rarity [R7] and virtually extremely fine" - £45,000
