The St. Albans Collection of English Gold Coins | NGC UNC Details | Edward III (1327-1377), Treaty Period, Group A, Quarter-Noble, London, + EDWARD DEI GRA REX ANGL, 'curule' X, shield in tressure, trefoils on cusps, rev. + EXALTABITVR IN GLORIA, floriate cross, lis in centre, leopards and trefoils in angles, double saltire stops on both sides, 1.87g, 11h, m.m. cross potent (LAL 6/6; Schneider I, - [cf. 83-84], N.B. both with 'Treaty' X on obv., as nos. 90-91; North 1243; Spink 1510), a scrape along reverse edge at 6 o'clock, otherwise handsomely uniform and well-struck on a full flan, a pleasingly good very fine, with an interesting pedigree, with NGC 'St Albans' Certification, harshly graded UNC Details ~ "Rim Filing" (#6295553-001)
