CAROLVS D : G : MAG : BR : FR : ET HI : REX • crowned 3a bust 2a left, the portrait refined, wearing ruff, XX behind, rev. FLORENT CONCORDIA REGNA (m.m. to left), no stops, second 'lofty' double-arched-and-jewelled crowned square-topped shield 3 in light-garnished mantle, repunched plain harp F with six strings, 9.06g [139.8grns], 1h, m.m. anchor [rounded flukes / straight flukes] [57] (PAS: YORYM-18E848 = BM 2019 T668/52 this coin; Brooker 47 same obverse die; Schneider II, 124/-; North 2148; Spink 2687), minor scratches before nose and traces of doubling to portrait, otherwise lustrous with hints of tone in recesses, partial striking softness to peripheries, otherwise a pleasing very fine, the bust-type / crown-shield variety not present for this pyx mark in the Schneider collection, rare thus, with NGC 'Ellerby' Certification (#6380983-052)
