FA with small to very large margins and well tied on 1840 (17 May) by a black Maltese Cross (some elements of red showing) on commercial wrapper to London, the flap with Gloucester despatch and London (18.5) arrival. A fine and desirable example of the incorrect ink being used to obliterate the adhesive (black ink was not used for another nine months). Photo
