1597 (6 February), a list of Privy Seal loans to Elizabeth I from residents of Wiltshire for the period 25 July 1597 - 6 February 1598, compiled by and signed at foot by Edward Hungerford. A total of twenty-five loans totalling £580, many going to Salisbury, but also some to Bradford, Coulston, Studley etc. A very early document in good condition
