1854 (June) (c.) entire letter to Paris by "first sheap" and marked "Registered" in red ink and with "1/2" rate mark, a good strike of the London large crown/"registered", boxed "Colonies/& Art13" both in orange-red with Calais transit, the reverse with London transit (14.9), A good cover paying the 1/- registration fee in cash as the new registered stamps were not yet available. R.P.S. Victoria Certificate (1998)
