'La Constantine': 1854 (23 Nov.) envelope addressed to an officer on "de marine sur la corvette français la Constantine" at Macao "chine", and sent "via marseille" bearing imperforate Napoleon 20c. (5), each is folded over the edge of the cover (so the address could be read) and tied by grids of square dots with Paris despatch c.d.s. and with "1/-" rate mark in ink, the reverse with a very faint strike of Hong Kong type 7 c.d.s.
