1890 (Oct.) envelope from Fort Charter to England, marked "Via Mafeking and Cape Town", carried by the British South Africa Company Police free of charge via Fort Tuli to Palachwe where it was posted, bearing British Bechuanaland 1888 2d. tied by "palachwe/khamas town" c.d.s., showing Mafeking transit c.d.s. (23.10) alongside, showing blue crayon and handstruck "T", "6d" handstamp (deleted) and London "1/-/f.b." h.s. with, on reverse, Cape Town and Bedford (18.11) datestamps. Photo
