1891 (16 Feb.) envelope ex the Brown correspondence from Fort Tuli to England, showing "british south africa company/post/office/fort tuli" c.d.s. in violet, carried to Palachwe where it was posted, bearing British Bechuanaland 1888 6d. tied by "palachwe/khamas town" c.d.s. (20.2) with another strike alongside and showing, on reverse, Mafeking (1.3), Cape Town (5.3) and Portsmouth (31.3) datestamps. A rare and attractive franking. Photo
